MAB Aviation offers outsourced ground handling services to non-schedule private charter companies for helicopters & aircrafts at Mumbai (VABB), Juhu (VAJJ) and Bhubaneshwar (VEBS) airports, as well as at selected airports across the country. Ground handling addresses the many service requirements of an charter flight between the time it arrives at the airport and the time it departs for its flight. Speed, efficiency, accuracy and quick turnaround time are the key elements of our ground handling service delivery. It is our constant effort to provide faster turnarounds for lower ground times to transform into better profits for our clients.


Our ground handling capabilities gives our clients the edge of affordable and quality services to leverage. The key categories of ground handling services we offer are described below.


Cabin service:

The primary aim of this service offering is to ensure passenger comfort. While cabin cleaning comprises the bulk of the effort, it also includes tasks such as replenishing onboard consumables as per the aircraft type and client requirement.



Our catering assistance includes the unloading of unused food and drink from the aircraft, and the loading of fresh food and drink for the guest passengers and crew. The choice of meal we offer is only dry catering.


Ramp service:

This includes services on the ramp or apron, such as:

  • Guiding the aircraft into and out of the parking position (aircraft marshaling)

  • Towing with manual pushback

  • Air conditioning (more common for smaller aircraft)

  • Luggage handling

  • Gate checked luggage, often handled on the tarmac as passengers disembark

  • Catering transfer

  • Refueling

  • Ground power


Passenger service:


This includes services inside the airport terminal before boarding the charter flight, such as:

  • Meet and greet service

  • Inter-airport transport service by vehicle

  • Air-conditioned waiting room for passengers

  • Passenger aircraft/helicopter boarding assistance


Field operation service:

This service dispatches the aircraft, maintains communication with the rest of the flight operation at the airport and with Air Traffic Control.
